Mission Statement:
The Southeast Asian Journal of Science and Technology (SAJST) aims to foster the advancement and dissemination of knowledge at the intersection of Social Science, Business, Information Technology, and interdisciplinary fields relevant to Southeast Asia and beyond. By providing a rigorous, peer-reviewed platform, SAJST seeks to encourage scholarly exchange among researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to address complex challenges and opportunities in the region.
Scope:
SAJST publishes high-quality, original research, review articles, case studies, and theoretical insights that contribute to the following core areas:
- Social Science: Studies that explore societal, cultural, economic, and political phenomena affecting Southeast Asia. This includes, but is not limited to, anthropology, sociology, psychology, geography, economics, political science, and public health, with a particular emphasis on research that contributes to sustainable development, social equity, and policy impact.
- Business: Research on business practices, management strategies, entrepreneurship, financial markets, organizational behavior, corporate governance, and sustainability in the Southeast Asian context. Submissions may also explore the impact of global economic trends on the region’s economies and businesses.
- Information Technology: Articles on the development, implementation, and impact of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in Southeast Asia. Topics may include software development, data analytics, cybersecurity, digital transformation, e-governance, and the role of ICT in education, healthcare, and industry.
- Interdisciplinary Fields: Works that bridge disciplines to address issues pertinent to Southeast Asia, such as environmental science, urban planning, renewable energy, and digital humanities. Research that leverages technology to solve social and business problems, studies on innovation ecosystems, and analyses of technology policy and ethics are highly encouraged.
