SAJST publishes its journals in full open access, allowing unlimited use and reuse of articles while also providing due credit to the authors. All our articles are released under a Creative Commons (CC BY) license.
Commencing in 2024, authors will be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of $90 (Ninety USD) or the equivalent in the local currency. This fee is intended to cover the costs associated with peer review administration and management, the professional production of articles in PDF and other formats, as well as the dissemination of published papers across various platforms. Additionally, it supports other essential publishing functions. Notably, there are no charges for rejected articles, no submission fees, and no surcharges based on the length of an article, figures, or supplementary data.
It is important to note that articles accepted for special issues are exempt from this Article Processing Charge, such as papers accepted for the conference partnered with the journal.
